Biography

John Locke Adair grew up in Searcy, Arkansas. After graduating from Harding University, he received his law degree from Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Locke received top paper awards in several classes, including Constitutional Criminal Procedure and Advanced Criminal Procedure.

After law school, Locke clerked for a federal judge in the Eastern District of California, learning both criminal law and civil law from a judge’s perspective. Locke became a partner at a firm in Dallas, Texas, where he sharpened his litigation skills. Notable wins include preventing a lender from foreclosing on a $4,000,000 airplane; drafting a motion for summary judgment, resulting in the dismissal of $3,000,000 in claims in a complex divorce matter; discovering a fraudulent developer agreement, where the client invested over $2,000,000; assisting in securing a $19,000,000 judgment on guarantees; and securing a default judgment, resulting in a judgment of over $50,000 against a commercial tenant. Whether a simple breach of contract claim or a complex fraud scheme, Locke fights for what’s yours.

Locke currently is an adjunct professor at his alma mater Harding University, teaching Criminal Procedure, and is a criminology subject matter expert at Simpson University.

In his free time Locke enjoys wrestling with his three kids and doting on his beautiful wife.
